Welcome to the Animal Experiences section on the SJBB HQ! – In this area you can see a selection of animal meet and greets we have done from across all of our adventures. While doing some of the meet and greets we are often able to get up close and feed some of the animals which makes the experience even more magical. We also have a selection of other meet and greets which we were unable to record but can be seen in the dedicated gallery here.
Giraffe Safari - Chessington
Join Sam for an action packed adventure as we embark on our very own exclusive Giraffe Safari at the Chessington World Of Adventures Resort. In this video we go behind the scenes of the Zufari attraction and meet some of the parks giraffes with this personal hands on feeding experience. While on your adventure you will get the opportunity to take some unique photos which will help you remember this great experience and share your experience with family and friends. While feeding the Giraffes you will also get the chance to see some of the other animals which are around the Zufari. In order to get the best experience the park allows you to hand feed the Giraffes but also has food connected to the tuck that gain their attention. This allows all guests doing the experience to gain a great interaction and make the most of the VIP experience.
Rhinos - Chessington
Join Sam as we get the very unique opportunity to get up close and meet some Rhinos at the Chessington World Of Adventures. In this video we go behind the scenes of Zufari to where the Rhinos live and meet a member of the Zoo Team. We were able to get up close and feed the Rhinos, stroke them and learn more about how they are looked after alongside asking some of our own personal questions. After feeding the first Rhino and getting some photos and videos of the experience we were able to meet the other two Rhinos that were outside of the enclosure. The Rhino feeds can be really expensive but are really worth doing as a special treat for any animal lover.
Mixed Feeds - SL Scarbrough
Join Sam for the most action packed Sea Life experience we have done to date with more feeds than ever before. In this extremely long production you will join us as we go behind the scenes of the Sea Life Scarborough attraction. While behind the scenes we get hands on with preparation of the animals food by cutting up and slicing the fish and meat into different sizes among other ingredients.After preparing the food we also got the chance to feed the Seals, Turtles, Otters, Sharks, Rays and many more creatures. Seals - SL Hunstanton
Join Sam as he gets up close and feeds some Seals at the Sea Life Hunstanton aquarium. In this video we get right up close to the Seals enclosure and have the unique opportunity to feed them as we throw some fish into the water. While at the Resort we were able to feed the Seals twice which makes for a double action packed video as you get double the feeding action. This experience is usually a separate ticket upgrade but the Hunstaton Sea Life were allowing Merlin VIP Annual Pass Holders to do the feed for free which we were extremely thankful for and appreciated. Penguins - SL Birmingham
Join Sam as he crosses something his bucket list in our latest video. In this video we get the unique opportunity to feed some penguins at the National Sea Life Centre Birmingham. Penguin feeding is a additional fee which allows you to get up close to some of the attraction penguins and feed them with fish and more. While you are unable to touch the local residents you are able to take pictures to share with your family and friends. All guests doing the experience also get a little goody bag with a plush penguin, keying and a certificate of completion. Giraffes - Chessington
In this video we take you behind the scenes of the Giraffe animal encounter at the Chessington World Of Adventures Resort. In this VIP Feeding Experience we get up close to the giraffe for some great photo opportunity while also getting to feed them some of the plants from across the Resort. The Giraffe animal feed is a great way to get up close and learn more about the animals and how they are looked after at the Resort. The Giraffe feeding experience can be very busy and so if you would prefer a more private experience then consider looking into doing the Giraffe Safari. While the Giraffe feed can be popular it is certainty something worth looking into experiencing. The prices for this experience vary and you can get a discount if you are an Annual Pass Holder or staying in one of the Resort Hotels.
Tigers - Chessington
Join Sam as we go behind the scenes of the Tiger enclosure at the Chessington World Of Adventures Resort. In this video we get to see behind the scenes of where the Tigers live, learn more about their weight, how they are looked after and also get the chance to meet and feed them up close. We also got the chance to talk with some of the zoo team and ask them some questions regarding the whole tiger land expansion and how the new arrivals have made an impact on the park itself, the guests reaction and more. The VIP Tiger feeding experience is a separate ticket event but guests staying at the Hotel or with Annual Pass can enjoy 20% discount.
Owls - Chessington
Join Sam as we get the unique opportunity to get up and close with some little Owls. While at the Chessington World Of Adventures Resort were were treated with the chance to meet and greet Bruce and his other Owl friend during a special Merlin VIP Annual Pass event. The experience was part of a special event that the park hosted but you can usually buy this meet and greet experience via the Chessington World Of Adventures Resort website. It was great to meet these little friends and to learn more about them. There is also another owl at the Resort called Rosie but she is a lot bigger than than her friends but you can meet her during the paid experiences. If you are an Annual Pass Holder or staying in the CWOA Hotel then you can also benefit from a 20% discount of a wide selection of animal experiences.
Sea Lions - Chessington
Join Sam as we get the chance to meet one of the Chessington World Of Adventures Resorts Sea Lions. In this VIP Meet and Greet experience we were able to meet Harley who is one of the many Sea Lions at the Resort. Just before we met Harley we were given a safety briefing and some guidelines we had to follow for our safety, the zoo team and Harley himself. When we got the chance to meet Harley we learnt more about him and the differences between a Sea Lion and Seals. After a quick icebreaker we were allowed to feed Harley some fish before going up for some pictures and a big wet hug. After the experiences finished we were able to ask some questions and learn more about the Sea Lions and other animals that live at the Resort. A massive thanks to the team at Chessington for such an incredible experience.
Capybaras - Chessington
Join Sam as he takes you behind the scenes at Chessington World Of Adventures Resort for a unique VIP experience. In this experience we were able to get up close with the Capybara where we were able to stroke them and also take some photos. We were actually trying to do the feeding experience which Chessington offers but as you will be able to see in the video they were not taking any of it. The experience usually costs £20 per a person or £16 per a person for annual pass holders. We were doing the second feed and we strongly recommenced to book the morning feed to avoid being disappointed like we were when they wasn’t taking any of the food.
