Welcome to the Magna section on the SJBB HQ! – The Magna Science Adventure Centre is a hands-on experience, packed with interactive exhibits and fascinating displays. Explore the wonders of Science and Technology in the four pavilions – Air, Earth, Fire & Water! Splash in water, operate real JCB’s in Earth, marvel at a tornado made of fire and even explode a rock face! Magna is a coats-on experience; set in the old Templeborough steelworks, The Big Melt and Face of Steel offer an exciting journey into the world of steelmaking.

Join Sam for a fun filled day of science and discovery and we dive into the depths of the Magna Science Centre. In this video you will see us explore many different areas of the center but first we watch the demonstration of The Big Melt. The Magna Science Adventure Centre has 4 different pavilions including Fire, Water, Air and Earth with each one allowing visitors to get hands on with different interactive exhibits. The Magna Science Centre is also home to many other attractions inside and out with events happening all year round. There is also a cafe located onsite which offers a wide selection of food and drink offerings.
