Join Sam as we go behind the scenes of Rita attraction which is located in the Dark Forrest at the Alton Towers Resort. Rita is a high speed ride that launches riders to a max speed of 100kph at the start of the ride. Rita was first known as the queen of speed but when Thirteen moved into the area the ride lost this name to better fit in with the themed land. In this video you will see the bunker where all the ride equipment is stored and how the ride operates. We also take a look in the ride control console and also take a walk down down the launch cat walk which is amazing to get up close. While on our tour we also got the chance to ask some questions about the ride and just generally have a look around the rides site.
